I have a relative that recently went to jail because he let addictive behavior get the best of him. Over several years his addiction to prescription pain medications turned into a drug, lying, stealing problem.
The same can happen to you with food. Everyone needs food to survive, but what happens when you use food as a drug - as a comfort, as a narcotic for facing reality, as a habit because you don't want to do face reality and do anything productive. Food is a tool that when used unwisely can rule your behavior.
Remember Food is a TOOL that FUELS your body, not a WEAPON that destroys it.

The Great Papaya Diet
Have you heard of secret of "The Great Papaya Diet?" Well I heard it from my twin who heard it from her husband who heard it from his friend in college. Here it is...
Eat less.
Move more.
With or without PAPAYA!!!
There you have it. So we all know how to lose weight. It is so basic, yet magazines make it out to be such a secret as the "Great Papaya Diet." The key is to discover what motivates us to actually desire it more than the desire for that treat in the "moment."

Our Subconscious Mind drives our actions
Why would I choose fat over fit?
Obviously I favor pleasure of food over the pain of a diet. The key for me is to convince myself that there is more pain in being overweight than the pleasure I get out of the moment of food. I am very addicted to food, food, food. I enjoy the process of eating. Yet I know that I need to lose 50 pounds. So how am I supposed to change my subconscious beliefs and feelings.
Changing our mind and really believing that we "have to make the change" is what motivates people from making the decision for lasting change. Changing our inner belief system drives the action.
